How often should I use the Advanced Face Tonic?
Apply Advanced Face Tonic once or twice daily, depending on how oily your skin is.

Is the Advanced Face Tonic appropriate for all skin types?
It is recommended for all men’s skin types: from oily to sensitive to acne-prone skin because it does not contain alcohol, oil, fragrance or other irritants.

Why is using a face toner recommended for good skin care?
After cleansing skin, using a toner can help further remove debris and oil, while rebalancing skin’s moisture levels and softening it at the same time. Think of it as an extra hand to get rid of any residues or grime possibly left behind by daily washing.

What do you recommend for oily or acne-prone skin?
Keep skin clean by washing with Daily Face Wash twice a day, once in the morning and once at night. Follow by applying Advanced Face Tonic using cotton ball or tissue to remove all traces of oil and debris. Allow to evaporate and apply Advanced Face Lotion if necessary.

Why doesn’t Advanced Face Tonic contain alcohol?

Feels great going on and afterward but seems to dry the skin too much promoting excessive oil production...... If you don't have dry skin, this would be the bomb.

Extremely Impressed

I am very impressed by the performance of the Advanced Face Tonic. I have oily skin which results in occassional acne . I use the tonic after shaving - something I do only 2 or 3 times each week. I saw results from using the tonic after the first application. It has really cleared up and smoothed my skin without any subsequent drying of the skin. Another benefit is that you don't get the sting or burning that you get from alcohol based astringents. I Highly Recommend this product.

The Face Tonic is a must BUY!!!

I am currently using the Face Wash, The Face Scrub, and The Face Lotion on a daily basis and enjoyed those results. So when i decided to finally invest and purchase the Face Tonic and Face Mask a month ago it seemed as though it took my skin to another level. I highly recommend the Face Tonic as a must purchase for the face regimen.

Advanced Face Tonic

i like this stuff since the ingredient doesn't include alcohol.i use this before rubbing the lotion ,it works well sometimes i feel it makes my acnes smaller. but moisture is not enough.

Great Results

I bought this to help reduce the pores particularly on my nose and I noticed a huge difference within the first week. I've been using it for about two months and couldn't be happier. Would definitely recommend this.

Incredible Stuff!

This product is incredible. When I come home from work after an exhausting 8 hour outdoor job, I don't wash my face soap; I use this stuff. It removes sweat, dirt, and sunscreen with ease, yet mildly. My skin is awesome. The tonic and face wash have resulted in my being complemented by a young lady who works with me who said I have "perfect skin". Not bad for a 50 year old guy. Thanks menscience.

No shine

I 1st read the reviews on this toner, so I decided to give it a try. I had enlarged pores and within a few days they weren't enlarge any more. best of all it doesn't sting like other toners. Cleans deep down and doesn't leave a glossy appearance. Its Great

Perfect combination of ingredients

This is a perfectly balanced formula that doesn't dry out the skin, but does remove underlying dirt and grime. It makes my skin feel very clean. Store brands contain too much alcohol (and/or other skin drying ingredients) which tend to make my skin too dry, and therefore, break-out, as the skin trys to replenish what I've stripped off, and goes overboard doing so. I haven't found a better men's facial tonic, and I've tried many.

Not for me

I have a combination skin type. It doesn't seem to matter what I use, oil builds up in the pores on my nose. Its not terrible but annoying so I thought that this would take care of the excess. To be fair it is formulated for oily skin so its probably just too much for me. I applied as directed after washing and I also tried it in place of washing. Either way the results for the same for me. It left my face feeling sticky and looking shiny. It didn't make the oil worse, it just didn't help it either and left my face looking very odd. It may work great for a more oily skin just not mine.

Not your grandfathers tonic

I have used the face tonic for a week and I have already noticed my pores clearing up and reducing in size. I use it on my lunch break to clean my face without having to wash my face. It has an amazing scent that my wife loves to smell almost as much as I do.

Will definitely buy this product again

I love this stuff. Since I started using it my tiny whiteheads around my nose and chin are gone for good. And I use the product the easy way. After my shower, I simply put a small amount in my hand, rub hands together and splash all over my fasce & neck....whatever is left I rub on the backs of my hands. It also helps prevent oily skin.

FROM OILY TO AWESOME!!

Great tonic. I've used other OTC ones and this tops them all. It doesnt sting, its odorless, and works right away. I have really soft smooth skin now, it controls the oil through out the day and that's what I need.

AND 1

This is my other favorite product from MenScience. I title it AND1 because it has that feel good feeling of making a shot in basketball and getting fouled at the same time so you get your AND1 opportunity to sink a free throw. Use it after everytime you wash your face. It's like putting magic water on your face that cleans, relaxes and rejeuvenates.

This is a keeper!!

I use the tonic once in the morning and once at night after washing my face. I apply it with a cotton pad in an upward motion. I really like this product because it doesn't dry out my skin. I don't have to use a lot and my skin always feels clean after using it.

Another addition to the arsenal!

I have been a devout user of MENSCIENCE products for the last four years and because I've had such success with their lineup, I'm always looking forward to the latest additions in their catalog. My most recent purchase included a bottle of Face Tonic which has been a first for me in more ways than one. With the exception of a mild case of roseacea, I've been fortunate enough not to have any problems when it comes to acne prone skin. Hence, I've never used any facial astringent before (nor have I been one to wash my face at night either). However, I'm in my second week of using the Face Tonic and I have found this is the best way to cleanse before bed. I've never realized how much dirt and grime is in my skin that cant be seen by the human eye. This product sucks up dirt and oil like a vacuum and leaves my face feeling "minty fresh" with a slight tingle. I know that sounds corny, but even if you don't have bad acne or oily skin this product is still well worth the investment.

Directions

Apply to clean, dry skin before shaving or moisturizing.
Saturate cotton ball or tissue with toner and gently wipe face area for 30-60 seconds.
Let evaporate.

Additonal tips:
Avoid eye and mouth area. Repeat up to three times per day for oily or problematic skin.

Advanced Face Tonic can also be applied at night to cleanse face in place of washing with soap.
