Guys' skin is different than girls' skin:

Because there are differences in the skin of a guy and that of a girl, we need treatments that address these differences. So far, it's a "one size fits all."

But the truth is, whether we you are a boy or a girl can determine how you should go about treating your acne.

Ryan, I agree. It's difficult to sit and watch infomercials advertising Jessica Simpson and others when I now know that the major treatments today are ignoring the biggest factor in acne.

The way I see it: The biggest factors to consider when treating acne are skin type and hormones. These are two things that are fundamentally different in a boy and a girl.

So, how can we expect any treatment to work across genders if they ignore the differences between genders?

Guy's skin is in fact 25% thicker than girl's skin. It should be noted that both girls and guys share the same hormones they just have different amounts of each.
