Earth Day Weekend Sun
Earth Day is Tuesday the 22nd - and we're talking about it because it means the world to us. It's the weekend before the national observance, so in almost every major US city - there is some kind of fun, outdoors Earth Day celebration going on this weekend.
Nationwide, thousands of US citizens are volunteering to plant trees and create community gardens, cleanup parks and beaches, restore trails and wildlife habitats and in general - restore, protect and conserve our natural resources. But if you're celebrating Earth Day in the sun, make sure you also protect your own natural resources - your skin.
As you're out of doors this weekend - with a park cleanup and barbecue or trash pickup and beach bash - make sure to wear good FDA-level sunscreen. To protect against sun damage - marked by lines, wrinkles and sun spots - wear a sunblock that contains an SPF of 30 and shields skin from both UVA and UVB rays. Sunblocks fortified with full-spectrum sunscreen ingredients (such as titanium dioxide) repel ultraviolet rays and deflect heat without irritating skin. Don't forget your lips by remembering to use a nourishing lip balm with an SPF of 15 or higher. Also, if you intend to spend lots of time outdoors, drink lots of water so as not to become dehydrated. From my previous experiences, insect repellant is also a pretty darn good idea.
MenScience has tried to make a smaller impression for a bigger impact, too. Our mother Earth this days are turning to be a worst scenario. Many of our forest have gone and many of our animals as well are extinct. This only means that we need to call the help of everybody to save our mother Earth. The very main problem this days are the garbages, poisonous chemicals that flows out in our reefs and rivers that causes millions of dying fishes and the very populated air that causes global warming.Let's now wake up!It will turn back unto us...It's us who will suffer at the end.
