This Sunday is Earth Day, the day when people across the country and around the world celebrate the planet and take a good hard look at what we can do to improve and protect our environment.

MenScience joins these legions of aware citizens by practicing a number of eco-friendly business actions the whole year round:

• All MenScience product containers are recyclable and we do not use secondary packaging (almost all products are shipped in their containers without an unnecessary "product box").

• Product samples can be used several times and are also recyclable.

• We reuse shipping and packing boxes at every opportunity, and we make it a priority to use biodegradable filling peanuts.

• MenScience headquarters encourages office staff to reuse paper and supplies whenever possible to cut down on material costs and waste. Ink cartridges are also recycled.

• We cut down on energy waste by turning off the air conditioner on cool days and when we are not in the office.

• Most of our marketing is done via electronic mail, cutting down the cost and waste of producing print catalogs, brochures and mail pieces on a regular basis.

We're still working on making more of our business practices eco-friendly, but we hope that this encourages other offices to take those first steps towards taking a greater responsibility for the environment.
