This product does seem to do a better job of preventing razor burn and ingrown hairs than the product I was using before--a similarly priced cream from Taylor of Old Bond Street. Usually I experience some irritation several days after shaving, as the hair begins to grow out again, but that has not happened with this product. The fact that it's a spray instead of a cream has some interesting pros and cons. In the past I've found that rubbing my face after shaving can contribute to formation of ingrown hairs, and using a spray instead of a cream eliminates the need to rub. On the flip side, I find it somewhat difficult to apply a spray efficiently. In each squirt I use an appreciable amount, and I feel like I have to use 3 or 4 squirts from different angles to get really good coverage of my face and neck.

This product greatly improves the shaving experience. It relieves your skin after you shave without burning. Use this along with the Advanced Face Lotion and you'll feel like you just stepped out of a spa.

Helps repair skin. Minimizes in grown hairs regardless of the closeness of the shave. Skin feels great after shave.

With coarse hair, I like to have a clean close shave. I was always dealing with ingrown hairs. Since using the Post-shave repair balm, I have really minimized ingrown hairs not just on my face but chest as well. Easy to use and one bottle goes a long way.

I've used a lot of products in the past that claim to soothe sensitve skin after shaving (including Tend Skin), all of which have failed...since using MS's post-shave repair, I have not ONCE had a razor bump or irritated area..top notch product guys...don't ever go out of business or discontinue...I don't know what I'd do...:)

I found this product through google search. At first, i thought its for white skins only but i decided to give it a try. I am black, i have a problem of ingrown hair that causes bumps. I have used Post Shave repair with my cousin, it really works perfect. My ingrown hair has reduced drastically and my bumps. It does not burn and smells normal. This is the first product i have used that really work, its worth the money. Black men with a problem of hair bumps should try it

Read a great review about this, got it for my husband a few years ago - now it's a staple. He's military and has to shave every morning and used to get the most horrible razor bumps and ingrown hairs - since he started using this, they've all gone away. Highly recommend for anyone with thick, fast growing beards or sensitive skin who has to stay clean shaven.

This is a terrific blend of herbal compounds that doesn't dry your skin and helps banish razor burn. Ideal for sensitive skin. The ease of application (spray mist) further makes it easy and mess free. I have pretty sensitive skin and my neck is prone to razor burn... this item has done well by me and kept me "out of the red zone" on my neck.

I have very fair, slightly sensitive skin. I have been using Egyptian Magic [available at health-food stores like Whole Foods] for several months now to treat my ingrown hairs: it has virtually eliminated all of my razor bumps, plus it treats razor burn better than most aftershaves (Lab Series for Men Razor Burn Relief Ultra instantly soothes the pain of razor burn but doesn't do much to calm the redness). However, Egyptian Magic is basically olive oil and royal jelly, so you look like a greasy fool if you walk out of the house wearing it. I tried this MenScience product in the hopes that it would be as effective as the Egyptian Magic at treating razor bumps; since it's a mist, I knew it wouldn't leave a gunky residue. It didn't help at all. Didn't seem to anyway. However, I've been using this stuff as a toner twice a day, and I've noticed an improvement in my skin's color (less red), moisture level (less dry), and texture (smoother overall). I think I will continue to use this product as a toner, not as an ingrown-hair treatment.

Everyday I have to shave and by 5 I already have a nice shadow. Because of this I always have problems with ingrown hairs. I have noticed considerable less with this product. It's a god send. Thanks!

This product is outstanding and I want to thank you. My fiance bought me this for my birthday. I am a white male, 31 years old and have struggled w/ ingrown hairs since high school. They became infected, irritated, painful and embarrasing to the point I was cancelling business meetings b/c they were so bad. I've tried everything, TendSkin, microdermabrasion etc... and nothing worked or it dried my skin out so bad and smelled terrible. I use the spray 2 x per day and i have yet to have a severe ingrown hair after shaving. I travel a lot as well so the 4 oz. container is perfect. I really must say this has been a life saver for me. I have used the product for just over 1 month now coupled with your shaving cream and am going to place my next order today. A sincere thank you for developing a product that is so efficient. The post shave repair is a miracle product! My ingrown hairs are completely gone. I have tried everything and nothing has worked until now. I thought I was going to have to see a dermatologist but not now after finding this product.

I grew a beard that I maintained for over 8 years because I was so tired of razor burn. My kids couldn't even remember what I looked like underneath! My wife begged me to shave and found this product...what a difference!! They only reason it doesn't work is if I forget to use it! I would recommend it whole heartedly!!

This product repairs your skin as advertised. I periodically nick myself when shaving. This product quickly stops the bleeding and soothes my skin. I don't have to spend time waiting for it to heal or the sting of aftershave on it.

This product ties my favorites among all MenScience product. It's unlike anything I've used before. My only advice is just to go out and buy this stuff. Now, sleep easy knowing that your skin is going to feel like a cool, Alaskan wave sprinkled w/ diamonds.

I use it every time after I shave. It feels so great on my skin and leaves no oily feeling, NO IRRITATIONS at all. By combining the Menscience Advanced Shave Formula and this Post-Shave Repair, I don't see any blackheads or ingrown hairs anymore like I used to. And also, this bottle can last you FOREVER. So, I would definitely keep using it (not gonna change to other products). I would definitely recommend this thing to whoever needs a after-shave that's non-irritating, clears up ingrown hair, and LONG-LASTING.

I love this product for one reason: I have a thick beard and on my neck, I get a lot of red bumps from ingrown hairs. After spraying this on my face and neck post-shave, the red bumps have disappeared. Even when wearing a tight collared shirt and tie, my neck is finally smooth and the ingrown hairs are gone. Also, it feels great when you spray it on, like it is cooling your skin.

I bought this product for my husband who was experiencing flaking skin and serious skin irritation after shaving. His face was very dry, and the after-shave he was using appeared to make it even worse! I set out to find him an after-shave that was alcohol-free to provide him comfort, as well as help repair and heal his incredibly dry skin. This product, coupled with the MenScience advanced moisturizer did the trick in bringing back a healthy face, and provide comfort and soothing after shaving.

I have a severe ingrown hair problem, to the tune of having several laser treatments done to remove all the hair in my cheek area (both). I still grow a normal beard other than my cheeks & I do experience ingrown hair problmes in those areas. The post shave repair along with Men Science shave creme, face scrub, lotion etc...has really helped my problem. I am 34 years old now & I have battled this for 12 years. I can honestly say I am at my best now with my condition that I have been in 12 years.

I purchased this product with the daily face wash for my African American teenaged son. The combination of these two products improved his skin tremendously. He was suffering with terrible clogged pores, razor bumps and ingrown hairs. We saw results within 24 hours of the first use. I use this product after I shave my head to minimize any possibility of razor burn. By and far this is the best solution to minimize and calm an area after shaving. Once I spray it all over my head it feels cool and I have NO bumps or irritation. I also use it on my face but since my head is more sensitive, I mainly use it on my head. Once again, a great menscience product. I use this product every morning and spray it all over my face before applying the Ultralight Advanced Skin Lotion. The spray makes the lotion apply more evenly, smoother, and goes farther. But it's a great product by itself when you just want to spray and go without lotion...and still feed your face!
